About Me

My name is Lindsay Franklin. I have been a social worker for nearly 25 years. I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy. I believe people already carry the seeds of healing and resilience, and my role is to create a space where those strengths can be rediscovered and supported. My experience in the field includes crisis intervention work. I provide a space free of judgment, with support provided in a compassionate and concise way. I work with adults navigating grief, loss, major life transitions, and the emotional weight that can come from caring for others or working in high-stress roles. I am a therapist for those who may have had poor previous experiences with therapy.

I provide trauma-informed care for first responders and those in other high-stress roles, such as EMS and healthcare workers. I am comfortable navigating the nuances of suicidality.

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique story. We will slow things down to make sense of what you’re carrying and build on the strengths that are already present in your life. If you’re looking for a thoughtful place to process grief, stress, or life transitions, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
